- 3 ░ A screen SAVER
- ══════════════════════════════
-
- Name: SAVER.EXE utility
-
- Purpose:
-
- When your computer is idle, you can run SAVER to present a
- fascinating and rich panoply of changing colours and geometry
- to prevent burn of images in a static screen.
-
- SAVER is loaded at any time by typing SAVER
- at the Dos prompt.
-
- Any key instantly quits it.
-
-
- NOTE That the ESC key will cause a slash to appear which is
- harmless, exactly as if the ESC key was pressed at Dos.
- Also, any typewriter key to QUIT leaves a letter just
- as if typed at Dos.
-
-
-
- (Please forgive these less than perfect Quit results. It
- was three and a half weeks of work hacked during odd hours
- to devise a means of breaking into infinite loops used to
- create the cascading geometries that are featured in SAVER,
- the hacking being required to get around a non-typical
- compiling system for which there was no means of instantly
- breaking an infinite loop given in the sparse documents).
